Ingredients
3/4 th Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
5-6 Eggs
1 Cup +1 tbsp All-Purpose Flour/Maida
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Chopped Strawberries
1/2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
For Chocolate Sauce
1 Cup Fresh Cream
1 Cup Choco-chips
For Strawberry Cream
10 Strawberries
1/2 Cup Cream cheese
1 tbsp Sugar
1/2 cup whipped cream
Instructions
1.Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180 degree Celsius. Sieve 1 cup Maida+1 tsp baking powder together and keep it aside.Take 3/4 cup softened butter in a bowl.Add 1 cup sugar to the butter and start whisking until butter turns soft and fluffy.
2.At this stage add the eggs one at a time and whisk until well blended.
3.To this add the flour mixture and lift and fold till well blended.
4.Take 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries and add 1 tbsp of maida and mix.You need to add this to batter and fold it together.
5.Add the vanilla extract to the batter and the batter is ready to be baked.
6.Place the batter in a greased cake tin and bake it for 45 mins.
7.Until the cake is baking prepare the chocolate sauce.Heat 1 cup of fresh cream in a pan.Once the cream has come to a boil pour it on to the choco-chips.And cover it and keep it aside.
8.For the strawberry cream blend the 10 strawberries in a blender.Now add the 1/2 cup cream cheese to it and 1 tbsp sugar.Whisk all of them together with light hands.
9.Take the 1/2 cup whipped cream and fold it to the strawberry cream cheese mixture.Keep the prepared strawberry cream in fridge.
10.Once the cake is ready and cool down to room temperature.We need to assemble to cake with the chocolate sauce and strawberry cream.
11.Transfer the cake in serving plate.Soak the cake in cranberry or apple juice.Cover the cake with prepared strawberry cream from all the side.Pour the chocolate sauce on the edges of the prepared strawberry cake.Serve it!
